This naturally sweet grilled corn on the cob (husk on) recipe is easy to throw on the grill and even easier to eat.
Make sure that some kernels are exposed on the grill so that the grilled corn gets some charred crispy bits.
Throw some chili lime butter on it after cooking and dig in "typewriter style".
We had corn fields growing up. I spent many a days sitting on a bucket in an open garage shuckin’ corn. It wasn’t unusual to pull an ear from the plant and eat it raw because it was so sweet and tender. Point being: don’t overcook corn – if it’s fresh, overcooking it will make it tougher.
Don't have time to soak the corn for 30 minutes? Cool, soak it for as long as you can and / or grill it without soaking 🙂

Instructions
- Peel back the husks, leaving them intact an inch or two at the bottom. Remove silk and pull back up over the corn.
- Soak in water (corn should be covered) ~ 20 minutes (this makes the husks not catch on fire on the grill).
- Grill 7-8 minutes per side (3 sides) or until husks are dark and some kernels have darkened. Add butter and salt to taste. Happy eating! Beckie
