Preheat oven to low broil. Spread a bit of olive oil on a baking dish.
Take ~ 3 oz (1/2 cup) off chevre and place in a ziplock bag or piping bag. Let sit and/or warm it up with your hands until soft & pliable.
Cut off the stem of the fig and cut an "X" through the top going 1/2 way down the fig (see pic). Place the figs on the baking sheet / pan.
Cut off an edge of your ziplock bag and pipe evenly into each fig. Broil ~ 7-8 minutes or until chevre gets a slight brown color.
Drizzle with honey & add salt to taste. Happy Eating! Beckie
Notes
Bring your game up a notch and buy flavored goat cheese (fresh herbs already added). Garnish with finely diced & cooked bacon or pancetta if you got it & want it.
Figs too wobbly on the baking dish. Snuggle them in tight or cut off a small, flat service on the bottom of the fig to make it stand up straight.
