Keep your house cool and dinner easy with this tasty Asian inspired pork shoulder crockpot recipe.  Put it in the crockpot in the morning and don't worry about what's for dinner tonight.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb boneless pork shoulder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp five spice powder
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce, gluten free or regular
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to crockpot and stir.  Turn to low for 6-8 hours.  Shred pork with a fork.  Serve with rice and Asian Cucumber Salad.  Add sea salt to taste.  Happy Eating!  Beckie
