Variations on This Easy Salami Appetizer

Add a smear of sharp mustard if you got it. Lay the mustard out as a dip or slather a little bit on each piece of salami before rolling the salami up with the arugula or cornichon / pickles. Then stick it all together with a toothpick.

Can't find cornichons?  Use small pickles or cut larger pickles in smaller quarters to fit inside the salami rollup. A small olive or two can also be a great substitute.

Arugula being a pain in the butt?  Skip it! Salami and pickles is a classic recipe combination for a delicious and healthy snack.

Like cream cheese? Add a smear of cream cheese to the salami slice before rolling it up. Stick a toothpick in the salami roll up for the perfect finger food.
