Teriyaki Green Bean Ideas and Variations

Modify green beans with soy sauce and mirin to fit your needs. Try these different variations:

  • Soy sauce - try tamari or coconut aminos for gluten free or soy free
  • Mirin - try a touch of white or red vinegar and a wee bit of sugar or leave it out and focus on the soy sauce and sesame oil.
  • Ginger - buy pre-grated ginger or add a dash of ground ginger instead or leave it out.
  • Toasted Sesame Oil - use whatever oil
  • Add ons: cilantro, basil, sliced green onions, sesame seeds, jalapeños
  • Make it spicy: add red chili flakes, sriracha, or chili oil
