I like simple food, real ingredients and tasty combinations. Clean ingredients that are grown without hormones, antibiotics, and GMO’s (genetically modified organisms) and that support the local economy and local farmers, fishers, ranchers, etc…  Sustainable food is good for your body, good for the animals, and good for the environment.

I am committed to promoting recipes & advice that are free from food fixations which take away from our enjoyment, wonder, appreciation, and curiosity of life.

Don't ignore the seasons and the fresh ingredients that come with each distinct time of the year. Part of cooking with real ingredients and supporting the local economy and local farmers, fishers, ranchers means trying to use ingredients that are produced locally.

My personal favorites (at least right now)

My tastebuds change dramatically based on the season, the weather and other factors. Whereas heartier meals like stews and pastas are usually calling me during the late fall and winter, during the summer I crave salads and sandwiches. Here's what I'm craving now.
