Rosemary grape coulis is vibrant in color, savory, and mildly sweet.

Grape coulis is easy to make in the food processor or blender and then takes about 7-10 minutes on the stovetop at a simmer.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces (~ 3 cups) seedless purple grapes
  • 2 tsp e.v. olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar (may not be needed if you’re grapes are sweet and in season)
  • 2 tsp rosemary, chopped

Instructions

  • Add all glaze ingredients to a food processor or blender.  Blend until smooth.
  • Place glaze in a small pan and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer uncovered ~ 7 minutes or until sauce is thickened (it will thicken more as it cools).  Add sea salt to taste.  Happy Eating! Beckie

    Can reductions be made the day before and reheated?

      Great question Concetta! This one can. It will be even thicker the next day with a light layer of liquid on the top. Just stir it all together and reheat. You may need to add a Tbsp or two of water if it's too thick.
