Why do we love ground beef tacos so?  Tacos hold endless possibilities of ingredient ideas and the freedom to eat with your hands.  YAY!

Ground Beef Taco Ideas

Ground beef tacos are easy to make and use beautiful fresh ingredients. Here's some ideas to add variation to taco night:

  • Add a little cayenne powder to your ground beef if you like some heat in your tacos.
  • fresh fruit like pineapple or mango
  • roasted or raw peppers
  • tomatoes / salsa / tomatillos
  • guacamole or avocado
  • radishes
  • cilantro or cilantro sour cream sauce
  • cheese like asadero, cheddar, or goat cheese

Warm Up Tortillas For Beef Tacos

Warm tortillas are pliable and hold more fillings.

Heat up the tortillas in a dry pan on the stovetop over medium high heat until soft and pliable or place in microwave on a lower setting for 15-20 seconds until warm.

Things In My Kitchen:

  • 12″ Nonstick Pan – Nonstick’s and easier pan to warm up cooked noodles.  This one is PFOA free and has a lid.
  • Slotted spoon - I don't mind a little grease in my ground beef tacos but I don't want my tortilla drippin' with it either.  This is a good price for a 5 piece set.
  • Benriner Mandolin - I like the wide, but own the regular size.  Hands down, my fav mandolin for slicin' thin.
