Dinner Parties In My Home

Hey y'all!  I'm offering dinner parties for four to six people in our home.  It's like going out to dinner but has the intimacy of someone else's home and your own licensed private chef.

Set course menus includes two appetizers, salad, main dish with side, vegetable side dish, and dessert.

Price is fixed at $125 per person and includes tax.  It includes sparkling or filtered water.  It does not include any alcoholic beverages but you are welcome to bring your own.  I'd be happy to make a mixer of your choice as well or provide suggestions.

Pick a menu.  Let me know any allergies or dietary restrictions of anyone in your party.  Don't like a menu option for the table?  No problem, we'll switch it to something else.

All shopping is done at Whole Foods and is organic and/or local when possible.  Any seafood is wild and local when possible.

Show up at 6pm for apps and drinks in our living room.  Sit down dinner around 6:30ish.  Finish with dessert and wrap up with after dinner drinks in the dining or living room.

Deposit of 50% down to hold the date and refundable up to 7 days prior to day of dinner.  Remainder due 3 days prior to dinner.  At that point, it's non-refundable.

Appetizer 2: Sausage & Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

Salad: Seasonal Salad

Main: Braised Lamb or Beef with Mint/Almond "Pesto" & Mashed Potatoes

Side Dish: Roasted & Pickled Beets

Dessert: Hazelnut Chocolate Cake

THE "WEE BIT LESS" RICH MENU (see pics below):

Appetizer 1: Pickled Shrimp

Appetizer 2: Hummus & Crudite (Veggies)

Salad: Caesar Salad w/ Parmesan Crisp

Main: Braised Chicken w/ Mushrooms, Basmati Rice

Side Dish: Roasted Brussels Sprouts w/ Toasted Sliced Almonds

Dessert: Cranberry Cake

THE SPACE:

We own a 1940's home in Wagener Terrace in Charleston SC.  Your welcome to tour the home but the rooms you'll be in are the living room, dining room, bathroom, and potentially the kitchen.  We have a licensed short term rental in the back of our house.  It's a separate 300 square foot unit that you can rent out for the night based on availability. $150 a night includes all taxes.  Message me if you'd like to see pics.
