Mise en Place - Everything in it's Place - minced garlic
Mise en Place means everything in it's place. Get everything prepped & ready before you start cooking!
Kitchen tip - making dinner easier is simple. We eat a lot of garlic. I mince one small head of garlic and dice one onion every Monday.
These are our 2 most used ingredients that I prep ahead of time, so that I can make a quick stir fry, pasta, or warm salad.
They both last ~ 5 days in the refrigerator. Wrap 'em tight in plastic or storage bags and place in a tupperware.
Put them in the crisper to try and isolate those strong smells from other veggies.
You can also prep ahead of time: broccoli, carrots, celery, peppers, ginger, radishes, cucumbers, etc. Basically just prep ingredients and then eat them throughout the week to get your veggies.
Happy prepping! Beckie
